Copyright concerns[edit]

Whoa! Is there documentation of the copyright clearance for the transcript? Ventura 22:03, 2004 Oct 5 (UTC)

The song[edit]

The song has been removed from the YouTube website, should the link be deleted?

There's plenty of other clips of it on You Tube, I just changed the link to another one Hamish (Talk) 12:05, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Other Version[edit]

There's another version of this skit, where he first walks into the "abuse room" and gets called names, before he goes to the argument room. There should be some mention of that, if anybody knows more about it than my vague recollection. -129.97.18.183 01:31, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • This is actually part of the televised version, in which Graham Chapman starts off by saying aggressively, "What do you want?" and ultimately calling the "victim" a blackballing, malodorous pervert before directing him to the office next door. It is also this way on the live LPs as well (although Rita Davies' invitation of "Do you want to go upstairs" on the televised version is replaced by Carol Cleveland offering a choice of going on holiday "or do you want a blow job?" on the LP versions). 147.70.242.40 15:46, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Removed 'In popular culture' section[edit]

I have removed the section "In popular culture", which described an allusion to The Argument Sketch on House (TV series). "In popular culture" sections should help explain the significance of a subject and not simply list appearances. Cnilep (talk) 14:45, 10 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cross over[edit]

Still no Dr Who cross-over analysis? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.42.132.112 (talk) 07:46, 12 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why would there be? This is a Monty Python article. - Denimadept (talk) 16:48, 12 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Move[edit]

The article begins "The Argument Sketch (officially titled Argument Clinic)". This is correct, the title according to the official Monty Python youtube channel is "Argument Clinic".

The article should be moved to "Argument Clinic". However, I can't do this because article "Argument Clinic" already exists, redirecting to "The Argument Sketch". This should be the other way round, so I've added a request for deletion to "Argument Clinic". cagliost (talk) 13:19, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Better? - Denimadept (talk) 17:17, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, however the title according to the youtube channel is just "Argument Clinic", not "The Argument Clinic". Could you change it again? See Wikipedia:Article_titles#Article_title_format. Thanks cagliost (talk) 17:29, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I tried, and ran into your issue. (sigh) - Denimadept (talk) 17:39, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I followed the instructions given when the move failed. See Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests. - Denimadept (talk) 17:45, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Done. - Denimadept (talk) 21:54, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Brilliant, well done! Thanks cagliost (talk) 13:03, 5 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
