Untitled[edit]

Can we get a source confirming its new top speed? At present both this and the McLaren F1 article claim the fastest road going cars. If the Koenigsegg claim is authentic (and independent) then we should change the F1 version, but if not then this article should change it to a "claim". -- Tomhab 17:41, 22 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Most automotive magazines have reported on the new record the Koenigsegg team recorded at the Nartdo track in Italy... I don't know what is required to be a "reliable source" though.

And I actually just checked... The McLaren F1 page no longer claims the speed record.

Incorrect specifications.[edit]

Performance [edit] Manufacturer estimates. Acceleration: 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds Top speed: over 395 km/h (245 mph) Standing quarter mile: 9.9 seconds at 235 km/h (146 mph)

These specifications are for the Koenigsegg CCR Evolution Package from EDO Competition, they are not for the production model.

The correct 0-60 is 3.7 seconds. Official top speed is 242mph. Best recorded standing quarter-mile is 9.7s. Philonetic (talk) 04:14, 30 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

CCR didn't break the record[edit]

In fact, the CCR did not break the speed record, as the McLaren F1 had already reached 391 kph previously, in one direction. 177.91.76.194 (talk) 20:56, 5 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
