Comments[edit]

The wiki text is very similar to that on the London Library website (as linked, history section) - it looks like there may be a copyright issue here. Do we have permission to use the text?

I'll let you into a little secret: the IP address used to make that edit (217.169.47.206) is that for the PCs in the Reading Room of the London Library. David | Talk 17:22, 14 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Leading literary institution[edit]

I'm not happy with the description of the Library in the lead para as "the UK's leading literary institution". What does that mean? What's it being compared with (national libraries, universities, PEN International)? Is there any objective standard being used? Or is it somebody's subjective opinion? - in which case a source should be cited. GrindtXX (talk) 18:03, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
