Validation?[edit]

Can anyone validate the info added by User:Marvelite? There is reason to believe this is a puppet account of the suspicious user Lizard King, so I'm inclined to wonder whether the info he's added here is accurate. -mhr 04:24, 13 Jan 2004 (UTC)

I was about to take out a paragraph that was clearly nonsense and contradicted itself, then I saw this note, looked at the edit history, and decided that as the para in question had been added by the suspicious user I would err on the side of caution and take out his other two paragraphs. It's all in the edit history if someone who knows the subject wants to restore any of it. — Trilobite (Talk) 18:59, 6 Mar 2005 (UTC)

redundant?[edit]

What is the difference between the second and third paragraphs? Don't they refer to the same entity? Neilc 04:21, 22 Mar 2005 (UTC)

It says right in the article that the two are unrelated, but share a name. It may seem silly, but that's what the Aboriginal mythology says. --plattopus (talk) 17:16, Mar 25, 2005 (UTC)

Yahoos and Yowies[edit]

Just swinging by, I notice that the information on the relationship of Yowies to Yahoos has been removed, but that there's no link to it. Incidentally, I eventually needed to use Google to find this out - the History shows that a user (now an Administrator) named Trilobite removed a great deal of information, and there's a note to "see Talk page" about this, but there doesn't seem to be any discussion about the move, either in the Yowie's or in Trilobite's Talk pages.

Also, regards the recent addition of information about Yowie Chocolates to this entry, perhaps this would be better in a new entry? Maybe a new article on the marijuana slang term, and a disambiguation page to point to these?

Hello. I've happened to come across this talk page again, and I honestly can't remember in any detail what the issue was here, but when you say there doesn't seem to be any discussion on the talk page, well this is the talk page, and you'll notice that I left a note at the top of it. — Trilobite (Talk) 22:26, 8 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, yes. Looking further into the issue I see that this information relates to the Marvelite edit. I've researched this topic some - the information he added is not, on the face of it, incorrect (regardless of his alleged sockpuppet status ;), so I think I'd better go find some references, yes?
(and perhaps set up a User account of my very own. ;)

Moron[edit]

Documented fact? Government coverup? Mass hysteria? To whoever munged up this article and filled it with such drivel, go back to the paranoia-lovers blogs and fora, and leave the task of purveying actual knowledge to those of us not on medication. --130.76.32.14

Yowie Suit[edit]

What about the Yowie Suit used as camoflage by forces in the Outback? I have seen it used by The Army Reserve, and so believe it's a real uniform Talk User:Fissionfox 10:16, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
