it is written:

Stephen Hendry is the youngest ever World Champion, winning in 1990 at the age of 21.

But aint Ronnie O'Sullivan the youngest ever???????

Our RO'S page reckons he was 26 when he won in 2001. But also reckons he was the youngest ever. Looks like that page is wrong? Pete/Pcb21 (talk) 16:59, 26 Apr 2004 (UTC)
You're right, Hendry was a much younger world champion, I'll correct the RO'S page. At least this proves people are reading what I wrote :) --Auximines 07:34, 27 Apr 2004 (UTC)

On a separate issue, I'm thinking of replacing this page (Embassy World Snooker Championship) with a more general World Snooker Championship page - the world championships began long before Embassy got involved. Any comments? --Auximines 07:34, 27 Apr 2004 (UTC)

I think that's a good idea. Obviously we should mention the important role that Embassy's sponsorship in changing the game (i.e. starting the modern era) but that should be in the context of the entire history of the Championships. Pete/Pcb21 (talk) 07:57, 27 Apr 2004 (UTC)
