Proposal: Move page to "Citizenship and Immigration Canada"[edit]

According to the organization's official website, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index.asp , the official English name of this department is "Citizenship and Immigration Canada", not "Department of Citizenship and Immigration Canada". Shouldn't Wikipedia reflect the official name?

CitizenshipCommission[edit]

I deleted a line which seemed not providing much information about the Citizenship Commission. I will add more substantial information, eventually. Wikimarkie (talk) 14:26, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Toronto Star reference[edit]

I deleted the Toronto Star reference as I believe that the article is unrelated to the section. However, for the record, CIC then reported that their website crashed a day after the American elections. Wikimarkie (talk) 22:54, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Staffing, name and date of appointment or employment with IRCC[edit]

The sources I located for some of the deputy ministers were not entirely reliable as I sourced them out from external website which I think not very reliable. I used openparliament website for information and name of the deputy ministers as resources. There is one that I had not identified so I left that blank. If someone wants to fill in that blank information, please feel free to add that info. thank you Wikimarkie (talk) 23:34, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
