Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Johan Nyman

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Article on a porn star called Johan Nyman. Googling for "johan nyman" porn or "johan nyman" porr turns up 1 hit each (yay, googlewhack!), neither is relevant. Apparently there is actually a porn video in existence called "Fnaskungen", it seems to have been released in 1992, slightly contradicting the info in the article. I have not been able to find a cast listing on the Internet (I'm happy to say that this is rather far from my area of expertise). At the very leaest, if there actually was a porn star by this name, he was not notable. (I vote delete.) — David Remahl 15:05, 25 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Also note, this is a contribution by User:164.4.31.79 contributions, probably the same as User:164.4.31.80 contributions. All contributions by those two users (to the main namespace, anyway) seem spurious and have been listed on VFD in the last hour. David Remahl 15:05, 25 Aug 2004 (UTC)

  • Not sure what Fnaskungen means, the king of something; but Svarta Hingsten is The Black Stallion, and Din Mamma is Your Mamma. I believe this is another fictitious Swede from the anon vandal. Delete. Smerdis of Tlön 16:56, 25 Aug 2004 (UTC)
    • Fnask is roughly "hooker", so Mr. Nyman would be the king of hookers (or the hooker king...), even though the double k has been left out (by mistake or on purpose, I don't know. Google doesn't find many fnaskkungen either). David Remahl 17:07, 25 Aug 2004 (UTC)
      • Well, at least I learned a new Swedish word. Thanks. Smerdis of Tlön 19:10, 25 Aug 2004 (UTC)

    • A more exclusive word than you think, Smerdis of Tlön. Fnaskungen is a humorous portmanteau for hooker plus, uh, Cinderella (Askungen). I think it's being a real movie is coincidental, the word is quite likely to have been independently invented several times. What did you say? Pointless? Yes, I know, what can I say? It's funny cause it's got "hooker" in it. Isn't it time to block those kids for vandalism? Bishonen 22:54, 25 Aug 2004 (UTC)

  • Keep. I found a cast list to "Fnaskungen" published in 1992. Johan Nyman really is one of the actors. I vote Keep -Drogan 19:45, 2004 Aug 31 (UTC)
    • Appearing in a single porn movie doesn't make you notable. Also, could you please provide a link or a reference to the information so that it can be verified? — David Remahl 17:56, 31 Aug 2004 (UTC)
    • BTW, the comment was posted by an anonymous. Are you really User:Dingis? David Remahl 17:57, 31 Aug 2004 (UTC)
      • Ehm, no, apparently he is not. He is actually the creator of this and several other bogus pages. contributions. His/her vote should not count.David Remahl 18:25, 31 Aug 2004 (UTC)
