Seems to be the day for commerce. From the folks that brought you Starbucks and Miss Tuna. — Bill 21:46, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete: This one's a good test case. Unlike the other two, I've never encountered the brand before. So, what did I learn? That it is a brand of chips (potato chips a la America, not a la UK) somewhere. Where? Where is it based? When was it founded? What are its annual sales? What is unique or notable about this one...except that it has a goose for its logo? What I learned is that they make potato chips and someone is obsessed with logos. Geogre 02:14, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete unless a clear case can be made for motability. -- Jmabel | Talk 02:53, Oct 16, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. AFAIK, these chips were only made and sold west of Utah, and the company's goose was cooked in 2000. Therefore, they're rather non-notable today. Garrett Albright 03:57, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)

  • Keep. Was a notable company. Origin of the phrase "Interesting! Provocative! Well-seasoned!" Didn't know they'd gone out of business, although that explains why I haven't seen them around lately (and they were everywhere when I was a kid). Gwalla | Talk 22:02, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Yeah, and the cowboy actor Phil Carey played Granny Goose. Their ads were ... cute. But it's still not notable. Delete. RickK 23:16, Oct 16, 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep, don't see any reason to delete. Just because the company is gone doesn't necessarily mean it's non-notable. [[User:Rhymeless|Rhymeless | (Methyl Remiss)]] 04:16, 17 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • The advertising was quite memorable. The guy who plays "Asa Buchanan" on "One Life to Live" was the Granny Goose cowboy character. Still, if the responsible party can't be bothered to go beyond the painfully obvious, this should be deleted. Granny Goose deserves an article as does Chicken of the Sea, IMO, but this isn't even a start. - Lucky 6.9 05:18, 17 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep and expand. I would like to read more information about this company and was unaware that they went out of business. Further more, just because you haven't heard of a company does not make it less notable, nor does the fact that it is no longer in business. RaD Man 23:40, 18 Oct 2004 (UTC)

  • Keep. All companies are notable. anthony (see warning) 17:18, 19 Oct 2004 (UTC)
    • Every single company that has ever existed is notable, as is every single person who has ever existed, according to Anthony. Anthony is seriously looking to get Wikipedia to become the phone book. RickK 21:53, Oct 19, 2004 (UTC)
      • Phone numbers and addresses generally aren't notable, so your accusation is completely without merit. anthony (see warning) 22:59, 19 Oct 2004 (UTC)
