Exactly when is the show Set?[edit]

The setting section needs to have the "time" not just the "place". I would edit it but I am not sure. To me it looks like it is set a few years earlier than contemporary, perhaps beginning in late 60s? Does anyone know what years it is beyond "the 1970s"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.218.192.199 (talk) 08:54, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Spin-off statement will need updating in 2020[edit]

It's premature to put anything in yet, but All in the Family's record of spin-offs will be tied in 2020 when the Star Trek franchise debuts its 7th spin-off, Picard. But it hasn't been released as yet. And an animated 8th spin-off is also coming next year. Here we go into what is considered a direct spin-off, but this article specifies that it includes direct spin-offs and spin-offs of spin-offs, which is what Picard would qualify as. Anyway, once Picard comes out, the statement will need to be updated. 70.73.90.119 (talk) 15:18, 26 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Happy Days is also listed with seven spinoffs, making it a tie. And since Happy Days is a spinoff of Love American Style, which had 2 spinoffs (including Happy Days), then doesn't Love American Style win with 9 spinoffs total (either direct or second generation)? 2601:140:C004:DA0:3410:A5D1:7912:22B3 (talk) 00:54, 2 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Errors in History and production section[edit]

This section really needs a close revision or rewrite, there are numerous errors and unsourced material. An example is the statement on the page claiming this as being the first major television show taped in front of a live studio audience. That was done by I Love Lucy in the 1950's. There are no sources specified in this article to verify any of this as being more significant than that. Soludos2 (talk) 08:58, 3 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
