Hmm, your talk page shows that I havn't left you a message. You probably weren't logged in, and either:

a) recieved the message due to a bug in the MediaWiki software (I'm actually not 100% sure if they resolved it or not, and nobody I ask seems to know the bug number :()

b) have a dynamic IP address. I apologize for any confusion, but there is nothing I could've done to prevent you from accidentally recieving the message

c) are behind some kind of proxy. I think some ISPs (IIRC, AOL uses these) use this- maybe without you knowing.

Sorry for any confusion. If you give me your real IP, and the one the message was sent to, maybe I can investigate into why I'm getting so many messages about this.
