Playboy Articles[edit]

Hi JM.Beaubourg!

Welcome to Wikipedia and thanks for updating the Playboy related articles. Hope you stick around! :-) I've added the standard welcome message at the end, but from the looks of things you don't need it. Jester2001 22:15, 9 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Inclusionist Wikipedians[edit]

Thanks for bringing back Category:Inclusionist Wikipedians. It felt good to see that red-colored category link at the bottom of my userpage (I put it back after someone deleted it), but I'm glad to see it blue once more. -Acjelen 01:58, 4 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

World Citizen userbox, {{User:1ne/Userboxes/User world}}[edit]

Hi, I noticed the message saying you're a World Citizen, I would like to invite you to add {{User:1ne/Userboxes/User world}} to your user page if you wish to proclaim it in a more effective way, and this template will also add you automatically to the Wikipedians with World Citizenship category. :) --Mistress Selina Kyle 23:54, 17 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Just wandering[edit]

I am curious, since I have looked throu most of the Internet I haven't found any information about Jardar co-writing music on Twilight Damnation. Where have you found this. Probably on the CD witch I don't have. Not yet anyway! Thanks! (User_talk:Death2) Death2 14:20, 11 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. Yeah Jardar and Galder also written together most of the acoustic guitar parts that were on In Defiance of Existence back in 96 while working on Born of the Flickering. I rēd that in some interview from Galder (is this sentence perfectly well written in English, I can write most of the stuff pretty good but some parts I just can't. I would place read but it just doesn't sound right. I placed red but i'm not sure how to spell it?). Also Jardar is just busy with other stuff and as Galder sad he will always be a part of the band so I don't consider him leaving. Bye! Death2 10:33, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, no problem. There are more than 36000 words in english language and we only use about 2000 in every-day speech. Everybody wants to learn something new in one way or another, and upgrade previous knowledge (referin to read). See ya! Death2 10:55, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I somehow missed this sentence you written: "Well, I hope that Old Man's Children Galder and Jardar will make a lot more music, esp. since I like their last albums a lot. (Don't like the first one, though.)". Just so you know the first album is good when you consider what age they were and that the production and the cost of studio equipment was too expensive. The last one is very good too but the first one was much more melodic and aggressive! Death2 06:10, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Age category[edit]

Hello! If you are receiving this message, that means that your user page is in a specific year category. Per a recent user-category per deletion, all specific year categories are to be deleted. If you wish to continue using year categories, you have two options:

If you wish, you may do both. Hopefully, this change in categorization will be quick and painless. Happy editing! --An automated message from MessedRobot 12:43, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Glossword WAMP logo.png)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Glossword WAMP logo.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:25, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Peter Hyams.The Musketeer (2001).jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Peter Hyams. The Musketeer (2001).jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Aspects (talk) 23:36, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Cathi O'Malley has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:ENT and WP:PORNBIO, no indication the subject can meet the GNG or any other specialized guideline.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. AfD nomination of Emma Caesari[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Emma Caesari. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Emma Caesari. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Soundwings requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Mo ainm~Talk 15:39, 27 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Red Link Recovery[edit]

Hello. As a German-speaking WikiGnome, I'd like to solicit your help in testing a new tool. For a few years now, the Red Link Recovery Project has been using the Red Link Recovery Live tool to track down and fix unnecessarily red links in articles. Recently, the tool has been expanded to work on non-English Wikipedias. A small set of suggested fixes for red-links on the German-language Wikipedia have been prepared and I'm hoping to interest some German-language speakers (such as yourself) to work through them.

If you are interested, please visit http://toolserver.org/~tb/RLRL/quick.php?lang=de. Each time you refresh the page you'll be presented with three new suggested fixes. I'll be happy to answer any questions on the tools talk page. - TB (talk) 17:43, 20 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Ashtrayhead has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unreferenced band article of unclear notability; tagged as unreferenced since 2009

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi. When you recently edited Headscan, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Implant (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Disambiguation link fixing one-day contest[edit]

I have decided to put on a mini-contest within the November 2013 monthly disambiguation contest, on Saturday, November 23 (UTC). I will personally give a $20 Amazon.com gift card to the disambiguator who fixes the most links on that server-day (see the project page for details on scoring points). Since we are not geared up to do an automated count for that day, at 00:00, 23 November 2013 (UTC) (which is 7:00 PM on November 22, EST), I'll take a screenshot of the project page leaderboard. I will presume that anyone who is not already listed on the leaderboard has precisely nine edits. At 01:00, 24 November 2013 (UTC) (8:00 PM on November 23, EST), I'll take a screenshot of the leaderboard at that time (the extra hour is to give the board time to update), and I will determine from that who our winner is. I will credit links fixed by turning a WP:DABCONCEPT page into an article, but you'll have to let me know me that you did so. Here's to a fun contest. Note that according to the Daily Disambig, we currently have under 256,000 disambiguation links to be fixed. If everyone in the disambiguation link fixers category were to fix 500 links, we would have them all done - so aim high! Cheers! bd2412 T 02:33, 18 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Eskil Simonsson has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here) 08:00, 20 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
