Pixies at the BBC, 1998-91[edit]

Should the 2024 BBC sessions compliation Pixies at the BBC, 1988-91 (24 tracks, 2 CD or triple vinyl, 4AD shop link) be regarded as an expanded re-release of the 1998 compilation Pixies at the BBC (15 tracks, 1 CD), on which we already have an article, or as an entirely new release? The 4AD page calls it a "reboot". Asking here rather than at the talk pages for the 1998 version or for the discography for wider attention. rbrwr ^± 12:16, 5 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Bumping this because it immediately got knocked off people's watchlists by a bot removing an older discussion. I'd also like to flag up a very picky question about the 1990 "Peel session" that I have asked at Talk:Pixies at the BBC. rbrwr ^± 14:03, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
