Seventh octave wonder?[edit]

Illness[edit]

Classification[edit]

This article has been classed as a B class article. It could do with better sourcing from the references. It could also do with an expansion on her training and voice as Anchoress noted. Smoking[edit]

It is incorrect that Miss Sills "never smoked." In 1981, Harvey E. Phillips, in the Epilogue (page 239) to Bubbles: An Encore (Grosset & Dunlap), wrote that "Today, Sills confesses, she is lightly addicted to mentholated cigarettes. 'When the going gets rough I close the door, make myself a cup of espresso and light up a cigarette. That's a new luxury for me.'" Ephraem 02:38, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

I gave it a B because it has a lot of good info (mostly derived from the internet), but it is by no means complete. As to priority, Sills is a high priority opera singer, but opera is sort of a niche topic (sadly), so except for the hughest stars, like Pavarotti (pun intended), I don't think opera singers can get much higher than "mid". -- Ssilvers 02:08, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
