Prayer Controversy[edit]

I removed the section on the prayer controversy. I find that it also appears, verbatim, in the article on Morehouse Parish School Board and really doesn't need to appear in both places. The section here ought to give an encyclopedic general overview of education in Morehouse Parish.

I'm also torn on the issue of inclusion anywhere in Wikipedia. My gut says that this event is not notable and is more news than encyclopedic information and should be in wikinews rather than wikipedia. The only reason I an resisting taking the information out of the School Board article is the argument that could be made on the event's 'lasting effect'. I don't know if that applies or not but I'm going to err on the side of caution. :) Wikipelli Talk 16:11, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
