Talk:Electrical travellers' guide

Strictly speaking, titled like this, this article should be about what Electrical traveller's guides are, instead of being one (plus there's a typo in the title). Furthermore, it is not exactly a ensyclopedia article, but more like a HOWTO-manual. Maybe it would be better placed in [Wikibooks]? Timo Honkasalo 18:59, 25 Sep 2004 (UTC)

"Domestic AC power plugs & sockets" used to have this content in its travellers guide section (which made sense there imo) unfortuntely that page hit over 32K (again) and i thought this section was the one which could be most logically seperated out.
i agree that this taken in isolation isn't very ensyclopedic but i also feel it is an iportant part of our info on "Domestic AC power plugs & sockets" and unfortunately keeping it in that article was probablamatic because of size issues
BTW how did you come accross this article? Plugwash 01:41, 28 Sep 2004 (UTC)

I suggest this page be moved to wikitravel, where it seems more appropriate than here. This article is a traveller's guide, rather than being about an Electrical traveller's guide. -- Joolz 17:54, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)

yeah but to do that you would have to get agreement to relicense from all contributers. (wikitravel is CC-BY-SA not GFDL) Plugwash 19:12, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Move to Wikibooks[edit]

I suggest moving it to Howtos on wikibooks. I would do it already, but I don't have admin privileges and have no idea how to move it to another wiki. --Dejan Cabrilo 20:13, 23 Apr 2005 (UTC)
