R I T Alles was proposed for deletion. This page is an archive of the discussion about the proposed deletion. This page is no longer live. Further comments should be made on the article's talk page rather than here so that this page is preserved as an historic record. The result of the debate was KEEP

Vanity page, apparently. [[User:Poccil|Peter O. (Talk)]] 16:42, Oct 7, 2004 (UTC)

  • Keep & wikify. It sure looks like vanity, but his name passes the Google test. Frecklefoot | Talk 18:49, Oct 7, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. My thesis advisor gets more Google hits than this guy. Principals of non-notable schools must meet high bars to be notable; nothing in the article indicates that this is the case. jni 06:31, 8 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Well, the article is rubbish, to be blunt - the first two lines repeat each other, the last makes an unsubstantiated claim. If you look him up on Google, however, you can find a reference to him being a former State Secretary of Education in Sri Lanka. I mean, come on, isn't that the first thing you should say about the man? I shall now rewrite the wretched thing myself. Average Earthman 10:45, 8 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. State Secretary of Education is a country-level position, which makes him notable. --Improv 19:11, 8 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep, but marginally. We can send it to Clean Up even in present form, but, you know, we're going to have a devil of a time getting stuff. Geogre 13:37, 9 Oct 2004 (UTC)
