Unfortunately, it appears you've gotten some impoliteness in response to some of your edits. I hope the few don't ruin your experience here.

Regarding the Sonny Bono thing, keep in mind that a eulogy, no matter how well written, doesn't belong in an encyclopedia article for the place where a person died. Only the fact that the person died there is relevant to the place. Any eulogy would belong in the deceased person's article, and even there, you must be careful to only catalog the deceased's life and accomplishments, and not wax poetic about their contributions to the world.

I hope that you're still editing here, and get this message. It really sucks that someone hasn't taken the time to politely explain why your otherwise nice writing doesn't belong where you're trying to post it. Unfocused 04:54, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I've edited your South Lake Tahoe entry for notable history. I agree it's worth a brief mention there, since the resort straddles the border. You may want to add approximately the same thing to the Stateline, Nevada article, including a mention of the ski resort at the top, too. It doesn't hurt to have information in more than one place, as long as it belongs in every place it is put.  :-) --Unfocused 23:12, 8 Jun 2005 (UTC)
