Firstly, shouldn't we move the mereces talk to the Mercedes-Benz page when talking about the car?

Secondly, when talking about the company history, either take it to DaimlerChrysler or Daimler-Benz?

Karl Benz was the man, that invented the automobile in 1886. This first car had three wheels and one cylinder.

The above was found on the Mercedes page. It makes it sound as though one man invented the automobile, which is ludicrous. Please move a revised version of the above text back to the main article when the main article actually becomes an article about Mercedes cars. Perhaps, Mercedes should contain a pointer to Mercedes-Benz. --LMS

The explanation for the above page can be found on the Karl Benz page, regarding one of the first automobile patents. Bjorn Elenfors

Mercedes car prior to Mercedes-Benz[edit]

Mercedes until 1926 deserves an article of its own. I suggest Mercedes (car). --Matthead 04:23, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
