The name[edit]

A cursory google search for Google:"Milan Sufflay" and Google:"Milan Šufflay" shows that the caron is added only sometimes. Either the name should be left in its original form or transformed completely, into "Milan Šuflaj", but that form is never used in the original. The former seems more natural, and that's also the norm in .hr literary language. --Shallot 10:51, 27 Jun 2004 (UTC)

The current standard form of his name in Croatia is Milan Šufflay. For example, see the Croatian National and University Library reference. --Zmaj 07:22, 22 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Albania TF[edit]

For his major contributions to Albanology, I'm putting him under the Albania TF to contribute in tracking the article from the Albania WikiProject as well. If there are any problems on the Croatian side, please let me know. --Sulmues Let's talk 13:29, 4 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Date of death[edit]

Šufflay was attacked on 18th February 1931., but died on 19th, so I corrected date of death. Even though sources which say it was 18th can be found, most Croatian sources claim it was 19th. Also, records at Zagreb's Mirogoj cemetery have 19th as date of death (can be verified online, page in Croatian - below the map in the field "Ime" write Milan, in "Prezime" write Šufflay (or Sufflay), other data not neccesary because he is the only one in Zagreb and surrounding area with that name.)
