Air Canada Centre, not "Center"[edit]

Changed the incorrect American spelling of "center" in "Air Canada Centre".

Parallelagram[edit]

What is the parallelagram about behind the goal? What year was it added? This should also be in the article. --Stang281 04:35, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Goaltenders may play the puck behind the goal line only in a trapezoid-shaped area defined by lines that begin six feet from either goal post and extend diagonally to points 28 feet apart at the endboards. Crease rule change in NHL[edit]

There is mention of a "controversial final game of the 1999 Stanley Cup Playoffs". This either needs to be expanded, linked to a Wikipedia article, or linked to some external website that explains what the controversial call/play was; because I don't know and my guess is only an avid NHL fan would know. -- Awcolley 17:16, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

External Links[edit]

As of the 2006-07 season your External links for the NHL ie. Rule book, face off circles etc. are no longer valid, due to the new CBA. http://www.nhl.com/rules/index.html -- darrennie 03:11, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Diagram[edit]

The main diagram is not to scale. Since this image is the fourth image in a Google search result for "hockey rink" it seems like this image should be re-made to scale. If there's support for this, I'm happy to make it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 830hobbes (talkcontribs) 00:44, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The main digital is actually well outdated (the IIHF has adopted the NHL's trunicated crease, for example) and needs to be redone anyway. If it's being done to scale, I actually think we should have two separate images, one for the NHL rink, one for the IIHF rink, which can be displayed next to each other, instead of the overly crowded attempt to put both sets of pages on the same diagram. oknazevad (talk) 05:41, 19 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The diagram is also missing a crucial piece of information, namely, the distance of the defensive zone faceoff dots from the goal line. Per the NHL rulebook, this distance is 20 feet, and the dots' centers are 44 feet apart.
