The sentence "Energy could neither be created nor destroyed" is not suitable. It is too general. Thermodynamics shows us that we destroy energy and lose it in a smaller quantity. As stated by Zony Said in his Thanksgiving Science(Sains Kesyukuran in Malay Language), Energy is transformed or transfered in any system and surrounding into an equilibrium state.
