Propose renaming this category to "Peter Schickele related topics".

Will change categorization of the page conforming to this new proposed name.

"Category:Peter Schickele related topics" is way too long. How about just "Category:Peter Schickele" ? MakeRocketGoNow 18:06, 9 Sep 2004 (UTC)

The "Tromboon" article is categorized in this category, which would seem odd if a "Tromboon" was categorized "Peter Schickele" (as odd as it seems to me now to categorize this instrument "P. D. Q. Bach"). This way one could categorize a violin "Paganini", or a pumpkin "cinderella"...

Weren't it for the Tromboon I had proposed "P. D. Q. Bach compositions" as category name (the same way I created category:Erik Satie compositions)

What do you think about "Peter Schickele topics" as category name? Note that this category is "end of the road"(1) both in "music" subcategories as in "fictional characters" subcategories: I noticed that such "end of the road" categories often get longer names, maybe this is sort of unavoidable?

Another question: I created List of borderline fictional characters - could you have a look at that, and if possible let me know if I gave correct treatment to P. D. Q. Bach/Peter Schickele there? Do you think such list of any use w.r.t. fictional subjects?

(1) "End of the road" categories: i.e. no subcategories, plenty of supercategories of different nature.
