category[edit]

I have added healthcare occupation to the category link of occupational therapist article and removed health sciences as it is an occupation article. I have added health science category to occupational therapy article. --Vincej 15:41, 23 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I'm still new at the wikipedia thing, is there a way of adding a category of schools that offer OT programs? --User:Aishel

State OT Associations[edit]

Is there a way of making the columns down at the bottom closer together? --aishel 22:58, 15 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Redirection link[edit]

Until now the talk page for occupational therapy redirected here to the talk page of occupational therapist. I just separated the two. --aishel 01:38, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Different from occupational therapy[edit]

"Occupational therapy" is a term both for a therapy and a field of health practice. Currently, the Wikipedia article called occupational therapy is about the health practice, and I think that is best. This article, "occupational therapist", could be about the field of health practice and I think is intended to cover that, but is a confused article right now. At WP:MEDMOS there is a style guide for organizing articles on medical specialties and I think if this article were organized that way, this article could stand alone. Perhaps it should be renamed "field of occupational therapy". I am actually not sure how specialty fields are usually named on Wikipedia to differentiate them from the practice. As a soon-to-be occupational therapist, I also think this article could stand alone. Just as there are separeated articles for nursing and Nurse practitioner, or physician and medecine.
The article "Occupational therapist" could cover the education, salaray, places of work, number of praticians, the role in the pluridiciplinary team, and much more. These sections would not be adequate in the article "occupational therapy". Dodoïste (talk) 15:31, 11 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
