Tall grasses in the prairie[edit]
Self-nomination. I originally took this picture back in 2001 as part of a class project along with 200 others. This one, I think, best captures the feeling of being surrounded by a field of grass taller than you are in the middle of nowhere - it just feels like the wall of grass is going to jump forth and swallow you.
