Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome!

About relevancy[edit]

Please try to keep information you add relevant to the article you add it to. Before you add a large amount of information, ask yourself: "Is this the article for it?" Should the answer be "No." and you still want to add the information, then go find an appropriate article first.

Also you might consider using the "Show preview" button when editing a page. That way diffs will be easier to read.

This doesn't mean that I don't approve of enthusiastically contributing people. On the contrary, I welcome your contributions. Just make sure they fit where you add them. Shinobu 21:30, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)

WYSIWYG[edit]

As you see, Gerbrant removed the material on Netscape/Mozilla, and I agree with this, because it wasn't really about the WYSIWYG concept or history. I'm not quite sure where it belongs, but not in the WYSIWYG article. If you want to discuss this further do so at Talk:WYSIWYG#Gosparty's edits. Your material isn't lost; you can recover it from the page history, as I explain there. Dpbsmith (talk) 11:42, 23 Apr 2005 (UTC)
