Pingying Zhang[edit]

Article doesn't indicate she is notable. Thue | talk 14:58, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC)

  • Comment: Deletion policy doesn't indicate that notability is criteria for deletion. Intrigue 15:13, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC)
    • But non-notability is usually seen as a criteria. It's an encyclopedia, not a personal webhotel or a world census. :) --Regebro 16:25, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC)
    • Actually I think that it could be seen as a part of the deletion policy. If you look at number 17 on What Wikipedia is not it mentions notability and this falls under the nonencyclopediac criteria. Delete. - Jeltz 16:29, 2004 Dec 5 (UTC)
    • Well notability is certainly a criterion for inclusion. That's why I don't have my own article, for instance. Therefore non-notability leads to non-inclusion, or, in this case, when something has been erroneously included, deletion. So delete, obviously. -R. fiend 16:53, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Not notable Wyss 18:16, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: I would normally say something else, but if it helps get the point across: non-notable. Geogre 21:22, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • The peer review process creates and refines common policy. In practice a consensus of editors determines whether or not notability in individual cases is a criterion for deletion. That being said, delete for the reasons stated by the editors above. Fire Star 01:06, 6 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Not notable means not encyclopedic topic means not encyclopedic. --Improv 18:24, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Vanity page. --MPerel 21:59, Dec 9, 2004 (UTC)
