Source[edit]

Information on the 2004 Civic election available here if someone wants to make the page: http://www.gov.calgary.ab.ca/election/ Although the page itself says 'Copyright 2004. The City of Calgary. All Rights Reserved.' the election results are a matter of public record and as such I do not believe there should be any legal limitations on this information.

Expansion[edit]

Added some details. Things to do:

  • Map of wards
  • Add City of Calgary infobox
  • Create alderman pages and possibly succession boxes.

Added template for City Council; I'll make the pages for the wards next. Ozzykhan 15:07, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Errors[edit]

The first sentence in the "Mayor" subsection of the "History" section reads "From 1823 to 1923, mayoralty elections were held annually." I don't think Calgary was having mayoral elections in 1823. The Wikipedia page for Calgary seems to confirm this; it states that "John Glenn was the first documented European settler in the Calgary area, in 1873." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.74.164.246 (talk) 06:24, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
