Swami Dayananda[edit]

This article needs to be a disambig page, directing the reader to the 2 men, Dayananda Saraswati and Dayananda Saraswati (Arsha Vidya) (they are both swami's named Dayananda Saraswati).

By using this name, it would be an effort to steal some unworthy attention of the readers and the student community, in the name of that great Revolutionary Rishi, founder of arya samaj. I beleive purposely this name has been chosen to get a fame undeserved.

Response: Swamis are given their names as per the choice of their guru; with an idea to capture their spirit and their innate nature. Dayananda means "one who revels in compassion". There is no problem if any Swami chooses any name. They ahave transcended these titles that are used merely for transactional purposes, like getting a ration card or a passport. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jrrao (talkcontribs) 17:09, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Swami Dayananda Saraswati the contemporary teacher of Vedanta and founder of the Arsha Vidya Gurukulam is the foremost leading teacher of Vedanta in its pure and pristine form appealing to to contemporary Hindus as against Swami Dayananda founder of Arya Samaj, mostly outdated today.

link to Chinmaya Mission[edit]

I don't think Swamiji's name should include Chinmaya Mission in brackets, as he is no longer affiliated with the Mission, in fact AVG was founded after Swamiji decided to move away from the mission, although he does still respect and consider Chinmayanandji as his guru.. --Mayalekhni 23:38, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • In fact after his dis-association with the Chinmaya Mission, he has set up his own Arsh Gurukul Mission in Saylorsburg Pennsylvania in USA working more of a commercial organization.

As such the Chinmaya's name be deleted Rakesh K. Sharma usa —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ritesh K. Sharma (talkcontribs) 16:38, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fan Page[edit]

This article requires a major rewrite as it sounds like a fan page and has not been written from a neutral point of view. No references have been cited for any of the claims made about the Swami. He deserves a very well written article. This is not half as good as it should be. --Sahasranaman T/C 09:28, 26 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
