Slavic name removed

There is a long time consensus between Bulgarians/Macedonian Slavs/Turks/Albanians/Greeks and everybody else in the Balkans for that matter that for all cities/places no name than the name in the native language will be in the first line unless there are exceptional historical or demographic circumstances (a propagandistic book is definitely NOT such a circumstance).--   Avg    02:44, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

See Wikipedia:Naming conventions (geographic names), if there is any consensus as you describe it is contrary to WP's stated guidelines. So now that I've explained where we should put alternative names, any evidence that there has been any Slavic population in this village to justify the mention of the Slavic name? Otherwise it should be deleted altogether.--   Avg    05:27, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

In the meantime, I have changed "Macedonian" to "South Slavic", as the former has no special relevance here except for United Macedonia irredentists wishing to project an "ethnic Macedonian" identity onto any Slavic-speaking population that may have inhabited the region of Macedonia historically. The town, along with the rest of the region, was incorporated into Greece well before a specific "Macedonian" language came into existence in 1944. ·ΚέκρωΨ· (talk) 05:44, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

There is absolutely no reason for the Slavic name to be noted in this article. There are no Slavic inhabitants in Krya Vrysi, nor were there in the past in any significant amount. So, I am deleting the Slavic name reference and kindly ask not to be written again.--Polaralex (talk) 11:15, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

Echoing Polaralex's comment, I would kindly ask PMK1 to provide any reference of a substantial Slavic presence in Krya Vrysi. Otherwise there is no reason for the Slavic name to be mentioned.--Avg (talk) 02:00, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
