Biased entry[edit]

The end of the first section is written less as an informational entry and more as preaching.

I agree. I find it disturbing this article makes no mention of John Milton's Paradise Lost. Accounts of this 'First War in Heaven' are NOT in the bible, but in church traditions based largely (and perhaps, mistakenly) on Milton's writings on the subject.

- I agree as well. The whole mormon page goes on for far too long. A paragraph at most would have been appropriate, but the length that's there is inappropriate. I would have cut it back myself, but I think it might be better to ask the author to trim it down to a paragraph himself(herself?). It's just more polite.- Richard.Pluta 18:04, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

- I trimmed back the Mormon post. I'd like to expand the original bit, make it slightly more in depth, and perhaps add sections on what other religions believe. Richard.Pluta 18:04, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

- Could someone maybe post what DOES get mentioned in the Bible about the war? I know there's some mention of something, which is where Milton got his idea, but I know most of our modern ideas about the war come from Paradise Lost.--Ana 09 Novermber 2006

Per the above request, I posted the most notable Biblical reference to "War in Heaven" to the Notes section. Rwf5 21:26, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
