Minnesota Bound link[edit]

I-35W bridge will return[edit]

May as well leave the I-35W bridge as the "next downstream bridge". It will be rebuilt in no time, on an encyclopedic scale. (SEWilco 04:20, 3 August 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Design and Construction[edit]

Sounds good to me. If you have some good, reliable sources, it could prove to be interesting and informative. I think I remember James J. I saw a great article about the history of Stone Arch and also found a timeline which would be good to add as well.Is it okay to make an edit? I'll cite my sources of course. Organization[edit]

As I look at similar articles, the [Bridge in London]in particular, what stands out is the organization of the article. It flows nicely and looks markedly better than the layout offered here. Granted that article offers more information, but I think the organization here could still be modeled after that one (or others that are similar). Any thoughts or concerns? Sequence -- not second to Eads (which wasn't first!)[edit]

This article currently claims the Stone Arch Bridge opened in 1883 and was the second across the Mississippi.

There were at least three other railroad bridges across the river open before that date: the 1856 Government Bridge at Davenport https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Government_Bridge the 1868 Dubuque Railway Bridge https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dubuque_Rail_Bridge the 1874 Eads Bridge at St Louis https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eads_Bridge
