Bibliography[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

Following the positive feedback on Talk:Franz Kafka, I would like to add an article focusing on the relation between Kafka and visual ornament into the section Bibliography . Given the fact that it was recently published in a prestigious peer-reviewed journal published by Routledge (indexed in Scopus), the article could be very helpful to anyone interested in Kafka´s work, and especially in the visual aspects of The Trial. after 1924[edit]

If Franz Kafka had lived in the time off the nazies, would the story be equal? i know there is no real answer, yet i think its an importend question cq thought. nazis existed by laws and this story is about laws aswell, although unspoken in this case... 85.149.83.125 (talk) 01:02, 27 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Different editions (translations and chapter placement etc.)[edit]

Would it be worth adding a section regarding the English translations, and how The Schocken Kafka Library edition differs from the Muir translation (I think it was Muir?) and how the chapters were rearranged? Does Josef K. really get killed?[edit]

I hope that no one minds, but I have changed "church" to "cathedral" as the place where Kafka meets the priest. This is consistent with the English translation, of which one chapter is called "In the Cathedral". Also, is it really true that K. gets killed? I have just finished reading "The Trial", and in my edition, after the chapter called "The End", there is a section called "Fragments". YTKJ (talk) 21:04, 25 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
