Um, I thought, like it says here, that the L.A. River started in West Hills, at the confluence of Bell Creek and Calabasas Creek. ??? -- Eric 10:45, 6 Dec 2004 (UTC)

I removed this entry from Filming locations: "* In the film The Core, the space shuttle Endeavour must land in the spillway after receiving faulty GPS data." because in the Core, the shuttle lands in the LA river, near downtown LA, NOT in the spillway of the dam. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.2.222.121 (talk) 17:35, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The film Grease[edit]

I'm not sure that the Sepulveda Dam was used in this film. Wasn't the race scene shot in one of the Los Angeles River channels. The paved area around Sepulveda Dam isn't large enough to accommodate a car race.

So far as I know you're correct. I would like to remove Grease from the films section, because as far as I know the race scene was shot downtown in the LA River during the 77-78 draught... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.107.223.153 (talk) 17:33, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Article - how to pronounce?[edit]

FYI - this might be a useful reference...
