Allan Bloom[edit]

I'm just wondering why you removed all that info (the romeo & juliet reference) from Allan Bloom. If you disagree with the content, surely you can find some way of revising it that you think would be acceptable, but I don't think there is justification to remove the information entirely. Even if you severely disagree with the info, couldn't we at least compromise on saying something to the effect of 'so-and-so argues that...', followed (or preceded) by an alternative viewpoint? I'd sure hate to lose two paragraphs worth of info, though. Keep in mind, of course, that the paragraphs deleted were not mine, and I know very little on Bloom except having used his trans of the Republic, so I can't really add to the content or judge one way or the other on the usefulness of the paragraphs you edited out. Anyway, I'm just requesting that the paragraphs be modified to a form where they can stay in the article, or at the very least I request justification to be added on the talk page for having removed the text. (No changes to your last revert have yet been made.) Eric Herboso 20:55, 3 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Leo Strauss[edit]

I hate to spam your talk page with double entries, but I just noticed your revert on Leo Strauss as well. I'm looking at what you reverted, and I'm not seeing why you'd feel a need to revert that. Please comment on the talk page. Eric Herboso 21:08, 3 Feb 2005 (UTC)
