My apoligies if this has already been pointed out. It is my understanding that Mt. St. Elias is the second highest peak

in alaska and the third highest peak in north america. The two higher peaks being Mt McKinley(Denali) and Mt.Logan in the Yukon. Thank you.Dave63.18.111.26 (talk) 22:43, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It is the third highest peak in North America. However, being on the US/Canada border, it is the second highest peak in the USA after Mt. McKinley and it is the second highest peak in Canada after Mt. Logan. This is confusingly worded in the article's lede section, so if someone can come up with better wording that would be an improvement. Astronaut (talk) 02:07, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
