Greetings[edit]

Hello Paul, welcome to Wikipedia.

To find out more about adding images to pages, see Wikipedia:Images.

You might also find these useful;

There is a sandbox which you can use to experiment in. If you have any questions, see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. Angela 00:51, 2 Aug 2003 (UTC)

Anecdotes[edit]

The length looks great. I don't see any reason for less anecdotes, but if you want to add more you could. By the way, when you're logged in, you can sign your name using four tildes (~). Angela 01:15, 2 Aug 2003 (UTC)

Image markup[edit]

Add the image with the wikicode:

[[Image:Royal Doulton Darby and Joan.JPG]]

Or you can wrap it in a

if you like...

Image display[edit]

You used capital JPG instead of jpg. Wikipedia is case-sensitive. If you have any further concerns or doubts, don't hesitate calling the Village Pump. Somebody will be glad to give you a hand. --Menchi 01:23, Aug 4, 2003 (UTC)
p.s. We generally place new posts on the bottom of a Talk (and at the Pump as well). It's more chronological this way. --Menchi 01:26, Aug 4, 2003 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Guilhermina Suggia.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Guilhermina Suggia.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Save_Us 00:05, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
