The installation of Msgr. Francis DiLorenzo as the fourth bishop of Honolulu did not take place at the Neal Blaisdell Center. He took canonical possession of the Diocese of Honolulu at Solemn Vespers on November 11, 1994, at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Peace. He was formally installed as the fourth Bishop of Honolulu at a Pontifical Mass on November 12, 1994, at the Co-Cathedral of Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus.
