This image here is before the 1994 restoration (you can read about it here: [1]), I think it should be replaced with a more recent one, like the one that's here [2]. I don't know anyway, since on the site the copyright disclaimer says that "All images of the Girl with a Pearl Earring are copyright of the Mauritshuis in The Hague". Does anybody know better?
