In this case the supposed historical significance is insufficient to warrant a primary topic for that topic, but the page views favoring primary topic for the singer are overwhelming. Oppose per WP:NOPRIMARY. The Ashanti language and Ashanti people, and many other topics such as Ashanti Region, are likely to have far more long-term significance than this singer. - A requirement to meet both criteria is a misconception apparently held by all Supporters here. “In most cases, the topic that is primary with respect to usage is also primary with respect to long-term significance; in many other cases, only one sense of primacy is relevant.”.
