Maybe in your quotation from Romans in this article you'd like to correct "tinge" to "time".

This is Wikipedia; please go ahead and correct anything you find needing it. - Amillar 00:18 May 8, 2003 (UTC)

The article first indicates Stephanus remained Catholic, then seems to indicate he became Protestant. Can someone clarify? Thanks. Birdchest.

It says that the Robert Estienne who remained a Catholic was the son of the subject of this page.

POV[edit]

We are told that "the text of the Vulgate was in a wretched condition". The seems to be a quote from the 1911 effort or Schaff-Herzog. No proof is produced that the Vulgate was in a worse condition than the Greek or Armenian. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.151.88.26 (talk) 13:42, 12 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
