Someone should add some of the history of Clyde to this page. Brian Wilson, the peace activist, was run over by a train and had his legs amputated in Clyde at the entrance to the Concord Naval Weapons Station. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S._Brian_Willson

Also the Port Chicago explosion affected many who lived in Clyde at the time, including causing numerous injuries. http://www.history.navy.mil/faqs/faq80-4j.htm
