Its been almost 5 days since this RfC filed, and still only 1 person has certified it. The rules at the top of the page state that it can be deleted if it hasn't met the two person threshold after 2 days. So, if nobody objects the page can be deleted. Thryduulf 20:00, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)

  • Let's keep the page. It can be used in the future to show how much nobody mind's Uncle G's red link that much. --cesarb 00:50, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)
  • I wasn't familiar with the procedure for uncertified Requests for Comment until now. I've just slogged through a whole load of talk page discussion archives on the subject. The main concerns seem to be that leaving an uncertified RFC around would be (a) a permanent black mark on my name or (b) a permanent black mark on the complainant's name. I don't think that either is the case here. I don't think that this is a black mark against me, and the complainant is anonymous and cannot be identified anyway (so the issue of having their name blackened doesn't even arise). Two editors, CesarB and SWAdair, have expressed their opinions that it would be useful to keep the page around, for future reference as a historical record. The page has existed for over a fortnight, has done no harm to Wikipedia in that time, and thus appears unlikely to do harm in the future. As such, and given that I apparently have the final say in this, I say keep it. Uncle G 14:35, 2005 Jun 15 (UTC)
