Talk[edit]

The article says that there are French right-wing politicians that are member of ATTAC. Unless you integrate the Socialist party into the right wing, I don't see *who* is right-wing and a member of ATTAC. David.Monniaux 09:03, 22 Sep 2003 (UTC)

Hmm, please feel free to change the wording around. I am not very knowledgeable on that issue. Guppy 04:02, 1 Oct 2003 (UTC)

This page probably would not survive an AFD, if one were to take place. Just sayin'. Paul 03:47, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I suspect it probably would survive an AFD; not saying this is a fabulous article, or that ATTAC represent mainstream politics, but they are a vocal minority group who probably shout just about loud enough to justify their own Wikipedia article. Legis 09:01, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Any Reference for this statement: ATTAC attends the meetings of the G8 with the goal of influencing policymakers' decisions." I doubt it's true Epic 21:48, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I think the title of this article should include the organization's abbreviation (ATTAC), as it is better known that way and often googled that way. Currently, this article doesn't not show up as the first result if one googles "ATTAC wikipedia". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.131.32.79 (talk) 11:37, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:%attac aus stand.JPG[edit]

Image:%attac aus stand.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Checking references[edit]

I have just checked one reference about communistic leader being involved in Attac and it was bs, there was no reference at all to attac nor the person. I deleted the sentence and I want to encourage everybody to check if possible the second source an article from Foreign Policy 2006 its sadly behind a paywall I am not willing to pass for this one thing, but if anybody has access to it, please check out if it is factually correct as I get a little frustrated about POV false references! --Hector Bosch (talk) 20:21, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
