I have reverted the censhorship of this article by someone who cited the Canadian publication ban. As Wikipedia is not subject to the ban, such censorship is not necessary.Mwalcoff 21:31, 6 Apr 2005 (UTC)

And I took out those blanket generalizations about "US people". I'm sure they were not universally true. If they are the opinions of a majority of Americans or of American jurists (a more likely story) the article should cite evidence of that. I did try to keep the argument for publishing, although the issue of Americans' feelings being hurt because someone might think their trials were unfair seems irrelevant to me.
