I made this from a myth stub to a disambig. Not entirely sure if Atreidae can be associated with House Atreides however. Feel free to revert me. Inter 13:40, 27 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Actually, Atreidae, (Άτρείδην), comes from Atreús (Ατρεύς), using an affix to indicate heritage. Same as son of Atreús, commonly used refering to Agamemnon and Menelaus or their sons. I'll edit and add this definition. Since House Atreides fictionally came from this lineage, there is a relation. Someone please set that page as a scratch, sketch, draft or what ever you call it. I don't know english wiki codes.--Bertoche talk(pt wiki) 19:32, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Merge[edit]

Since all this information exists on Atreus already, I'm going to merge this article into it, making this article a redirect to Atreus. Any objections? -kotra (talk) 20:31, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind, looking through the edit history now I see that it used to be a redirect, and an anonymous editor had expanded it into a stub. Instead of going through the merge process, I have just reverted their edits. -kotra (talk) 20:36, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
