Hi, welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks very much for your contribution. We already have a page on All Quiet on the Western Front--your version had a non-capitalized Q. You can edit that article, or any article, of course. In fact, we greatly appreciate it. To learn more about editing, you can try the Wikipedia:Tutorial, read Wikipedia:FAQ, and ask any remaining questions at Wikipedia:Help desk. Best wishes, Meelar 02:03, 6 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, welcome to Wikipedia. Is there any chance you could run a spell checker before posting? Your contribution to World War I has lots of glaring spelling errors. Also, could you substantiate where those so-called motives have been delinieated? RickK 01:31, 16 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Pershing Tank[edit]

Howdy. The Pershing is listed under Limited service combat vehicles as it saw very little action during World War II. Oberiko 00:08, 26 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Hey, I noticed your addition of an infobox of major programming languages to the bottom of C programming language. While I don't object to this idea, here are a few style guidelines I hope you find helpful:

  • Generally, infoboxes, particularly ones to be placed on many pages, are put into templates, such as Template:Major programming languages small, and then included in pages using (for example) {{Major programming languages small}}. This facilitates future editing of the box. I chose this name because the template Template:Major programming languages already exists, and is a long sidebar.
  • Infoboxes are not generally placed in article sections, or given any explanation in the text; they are seen as auxiliary. They are never placed after interwiki links.

I hope this helps. Deco 02:24, 4 Nov 2004 (UTC)

I've gone ahead and done this. Your box is now on Template: Major programming languages small, and the box has been added to the bottom of every article in the box. I added ML to the box as well, since Ocaml is in fact a dialect of ML. Deco 21:38, 15 Nov 2004 (UTC)
