Ugen64, thanks for editing this page to replace the commonly used definition of "penultimate" with the linguistic meaning. Although I consider the change an improvement, I wonder whether the article isn't still just a definition. For example, the linguistic sense described here is listed on dictionary.com. Is there much we can write about the term beyond its definition, whether in the linguistic sense or otherwise? Wmahan. 20:54, 2004 Apr 19 (UTC) P.S.
