It's clear that you're new to Wikipedia and may not be familiar with how things work here. I've checked out what you have contributed and on more than one occasion you said that articles written about the Philippines should be written from a "Filipino Point of View" because they "know better." You said the same thing on the Demographics of Puerto Rico.
Here at Wikipedia, things are written from a neutral point of view. And I think that's one of the good thing about Wikipedia. Articles don't have to and should not be restricted to one point of view which is what you're proposing.
There are people who aren't Filipino but yet know much more about the Philippines than the average Pinoy does. And you know what? There is nothing wrong with that. Their wealth of knowledge should be welcomed, not turned away simply because they were born somewhere else.
I suggest reading the NPOV article very carefully and take into consideration the info that is in there. If you don't like what Al-Andalus wrote, find ways of improving the article - even for subjects you don't like such as the IMSCF one. But don't delete it out right and put some silly statement that it's not factual. You could improve the article by saying that there are those, such as you, who deny the existence of IMSCF. That's a start.
In the end, I hope, this'll help in having you avoid problems with other Wikipedians.

Colonial Mentality[edit]

You wrote If it is neutral then it should stick to the DESCRIPTION. And why include only the Philippines and Latin America, AS IF they were the only nations that were colonized.
Philippines and Latin America are given as examples. What? Examples are not OK? And the Philippines and Latin America are just a start - no need to feel offended. It's something that happens, but there really is no offensive motive as far as I can tell.
Eventually people - maybe you - will contribute examples of colonial mentality in other parts of the world. But for now, it's the Philippines and Latin America. --Chris 03:52, 23 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Hi Laloy, I just got your message on my talk page, and have had a quick look at the situation. It seems to me that you are acting somewhat overzealously. Firstly, I suggest that you try to work out your disagreements with Al-Andalus without resorting to deleting large portions of articles you don't like (judging from Colonial mentality). That kind of behaviour will only make people disregard what you have to say, rather than listen. Use the talk page. There is a whole dispute resolution process that is designed for just these kinds of situations. Secondly, I would like to restate what Chris said above - just because there are only a few countries mentioned in the CM article, only means that the article isn't finished yet. More examples would be a good thing, and perhaps you could provide them? If you think the article is biased, you could add something to it that makes it a better article. Articles only get better when people work together to improve them. You said on my talk page that you believe the meaning of a concept belongs in an encyclopaedia, but that the people and nations that practice it should not be investigated. I don't find anything wrong with including examples of what peoples and nations practice different things, as this can help the reader to understand the concept, and to let them know where in the world the concept is relevant. I don't see anything biased, or racist, or otherwise in these kinds of articles, as long as there are enough examples. This is the problem with the CM article.
Now I am only reporting to you what I've seen after making a (very short) investigation. I realize that you have your opinions of what belongs on Wikipedia, and I have mine, and they obviously differ. But if there is anything I have obviously overlooked, please tell me. Please tell me what other articles you and Al-Andalus disagree on, if there are any, and I will look into it. Remember to talk about your disagreements and discuss what you think is wrong with an article in a level-headed way, and there will be people who will listen.
