"...giving money to save Lundy Island and the SS Britannia"

A Google search [1] fails to turn up any connection between Hayward and a ship of that name (only mirrors of Wikipedia appear in the results). I suspect that the original contributor meant the SS Great Britain, to which Hayward certainly did give money. I am changing it in the article because the result will definitely be correct, regardless of what the writer meant. --rbrwr± 23:03, 15 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Sir Charles Hayward[edit]

Does this Sir Charles Hayward link point to the correct person?

The Sir Charles Hayward page is about a Canadian, I always thought Jack Hayward's father was from Wolverhampton. Unknown Unknowns 09:10, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

His father is indeed a different Sir Charles Hayward, i've removed the link. Details on his father can be found here http://www.localhistory.scit.wlv.ac.uk/Museum/Transport/Motorcycles/ajs3.htm Sinfony81 12:50, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
