It is wrong (pace Merovingian) to call VARA a "liberal" broadcaster. In a Dutch (and more generally, European) context "liberal" means "free-market capitalist", whereas VARA (originally the "Association of Worker Radio Amateurs") stems from a clearly socialist background. -- 217.43.24.252 13:32, 11 Jun 2004 (UTC)
